About The Role

EKFB is proud to have been appointed by HS2 to deliver civil engineering works across an 80km section of the new high-speed rail link between the Chiltern Tunnel and Long Itchington Wood.

We are seeking a Senior Buyer to support the Procurement manager for a section of works managing the tender, analysis, negotiation, and award of Subcontract packages.

The successful candidate will act as the face of EKFB and ensure that all communication, negotiations, and interactions with the supply chain are carried out in the spirit of our values and Procurement & Supply Chain vision.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage diverse internal and external stakeholders to achieve successful project outcomes.
  • Prepare and deliver internal presentations to key stakeholders articulating package strategies and award recommendations.
  • Liaise with internal stakeholders and make sure they are engaged in the process throughout.
  • Carry out procurement to the highest ethical standard at all times.

About You

  • Excellent written skills and ability to draft formal Subcontract documents.
  • Experience with NEC contracts.
  • Knowledge of Supply chain principles, procedures, and methods.
  • Proven analytical, problem-solving, and organisational skills.
