Job Title: SecOps Engineer

We are seeking a highly skilled SecOps Engineer to join our team, reporting to the Information and Cyber Manager. As a key team member, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the organisation and its technology infrastructure remain secure.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design, build, and implement new security policies, controls, processes, and tools
  • Assist with support of existing systems and/or business requests
  • Evaluate, test, and use security technologies and tools
  • Perform security account administration and evaluate system security plan documentation
  • Mentor and coach colleagues
  • Identify security issues and risks and develop mitigation plans
  • Develop and ensure secure coding guidelines and best practices
Requirements:
  • Previous experience in a similar SecOps Engineer, Cyber Security Engineer, or security-oriented 2nd or 3rd Line Support role
  • Proficiency with Azure
  • Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and integrating security tooling
  • Continuous improvement focus
  • Sound professionalism with incident response
  • Initiative, adaptability, and strong problem-solving skills
What We Offer:
  • Salary £25,000 to £35,000 + bonus (£6k) + pension + benefits

  • Hours 8.30am - 5.30pm, hol. 22 days + stats, increasing with service
