Cyber Security Consultant

We are seeking a highly skilled Cyber Security Consultant to join our team at The Leadership Collective. As a key member of our security operations team, you will play a vital role in helping our clients navigate the complex world of cybersecurity.

About the Role

This is an exciting opportunity to work with a leading company in the cybersecurity industry, recognized for its cutting-edge security solutions and innovative approach. As a Cyber Security Consultant, you will be responsible for supporting the technical relationship with assigned customers, using your skills and expertise to build and maintain an outstanding partnership in the provision of security services.

Key Responsibilities
  • Act as a technical representative and first-level provider of security services.
  • Analyse security events from various data points including network, endpoint, and log sources expediently, consistently, and accurately.
  • Leverage education and training to identify correlations in client environments and determine if behavior is expected.
  • Support the delivery of network and endpoint security solutions to customers.
  • Monitor systems for security incidents and vulnerabilities; develop monitoring and visibility capabilities, and report on incidents, vulnerabilities, and trends.
  • Independently conduct complex investigations within your area of expertise and collaborate with other experts to resolve issues.
  • Prepare and document security governance, standard operating procedures, and protocols.
  • Configure, troubleshoot, and maintain security for customer environments.
  • Monitor systems for irregular behavior and implement preventive measures.
  • Determine the need for escalation and proactively communicate with customers and stakeholders.
  • Educate and train staff on information system security best practices.
Requirements
  • Relevant education including university degree, college diploma, or industry certifications.
  • Technical competencies at the intermediate level.
  • A number of years relevant experience.
