Children's Home Operations Lead

We are seeking a highly experienced Children's Home Operations Lead to join our team at iPeople Solutions in Kidderminster and surrounding areas.

About the Role

The successful candidate will be responsible for leading the operational management of our Ofsted-regulated residential provision, ensuring compliance with legislative and regulatory requirements.

This includes:

  • Developing and implementing effective policies, procedures, and management strategies to ensure the highest standards of emotional, social, and physical care.
  • Building strong relationships with social work teams, the Virtual School, clinicians, and other key partner agencies to promote best outcomes for young people.
  • Overseeing the recruitment, training, and supervision of staff to ensure they have the necessary skills and knowledge to provide high-quality care.
Requirements

To be considered for this role, applicants must possess:

  • A Degree in Social Work or equivalent relevant qualification.
  • Previous significant experience of holding a Registered Manager role delivering a good or outstanding judgement from Ofsted.
  • Experience of working with children with complex needs and understanding of causes of behaviour in children and behaviour management techniques.
  • An Enhanced DBS Check.

Estimated salary: £55,000 - £65,000 per annum.
