Sales Development Representative

About the Role
We are seeking a driven and passionate Sales Development Executive to manage customer expectations and drive sales growth within our established customer base, while actively acquiring new clients. This role focuses on building long-term, mutually beneficial relationships that contribute to sustainable profitability.
This is an in-house position with the potential for advancement to a Business Development Manager role within 12-18 months. At this stage, you will be responsible for face-to-face client visits, and a fully expensed company vehicle will be provided.
Your Responsibilities- Maximize sales revenue within operational capacity, securing profitable new market share and driving gross margin growth.
- Lead negotiations with prospective clients and cultivate relationships to maximize commercial opportunities.
- Process sales inquiries and orders, ensuring all administrative tasks are completed efficiently.
- Provide support to colleagues by managing their sales ledgers during absences and offering assistance as needed.
- Champion exceptional customer service standards that foster customer retention.
You possess the drive, confidence, and collaborative spirit to thrive within our dynamic business environment.
Essential Skills- Proven experience in business development or sales within a demanding sales environment. Ideally, you have a background in steel or construction and a track record of building B2B accounts and delivering results.
