The Opportunity
We are seeking a highly skilled and creative Automotive Interior Designer to join our dynamic Design Team. As an integral part of our Interior Design Team, you will be responsible for crafting world-class vehicle interiors, from conceptualization to production.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and refine design themes, ensuring alignment with product aspirations and design vision.
- Provide innovative design solutions to production challenges, ensuring the creation of exceptional and robust vehicle interior concepts.
- Produce high-quality design visuals suitable for senior presentations.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate technological advancements seamlessly into the interior design, ensuring a balance between aesthetics and functionality.
- Work alongside surface design teams and studio engineers to develop and refine production surfaces, ensuring a seamless transition from design to final product.
- Focus on meticulous design detail and functionality throughout the vehicle cabin, ensuring a harmonious and user-centric experience.
Requirements
Who You Are
- Exceptional 3D modeling skills in software such as Blender, Maya, or Alias, showcasing mastery of digital sculpting and surfacing techniques.
- Proficient in digital visualization tools such as Blender, Keyshot, and VRed for creating realistic and visually appealing design presentations.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and visual, to convey design concepts and ideas effectively.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, collaborative, and ever-evolving digital working environment.
- Minimum BA degree in Industrial Design or related field.
- Strong two-dimensional sketching and visualization skills.
- Demonstrated strong interior design aesthetic sense.
- Multiple years of experience in interior design within the automotive industry.
- Portfolio demonstrating a diverse range of interior design projects, highlighting creativity, attention to detail, and problem-solving skills.
- Knowledge of industry-standard processes and best practices, with an ability to innovate within established guidelines.
