Interior Design Assistant

We are seeking a talented Junior Interior Stylist to assist our dynamic team in delivering exceptional interior design schemes. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for sourcing accessories, preparing and packing materials, and assisting with on-site installations.

Key Responsibilities:

Sourcing and purchasing accessories for various interior design schemes.

Organising and packing accessories for each project, ensuring everything is ready for installation.

Assisting with the installation of interior schemes, following design plans and ensuring every detail is executed to a high standard.

Managing projects on-site, giving clear instructions to the installation team and ensuring the project runs smoothly.

Maintaining a polite and professional relationship with clients during on-site installations.

Ensuring all purchases and expenses stay within the project budget.

Accurately recording all costs, processing receipts, and following company procedures for expense reporting.

Maintaining clear communication with ordering, design, and sales teams, ensuring all parties are updated on project progress.

Reviewing job files before purchasing, flagging any missing items or required changes to the design team.

Providing installation feedback to the Styling Manager and Designers for future improvements.

Taking professional inventory photos and videos after installations for use on social media and marketing.

Additional Responsibilities:

Working both independently and as part of a team in a professional manner.

Driving the company van to and from site locations (van maintenance, MOT, and cleanliness required).

Assisting Senior Stylists on large installations.

Maintaining a tidy and organised styling room and workspace.

Keeping up-to-date with interior design trends and new product launches.

Supporting team members to ensure the overall success of each project.

Unpacking and organising stock deliveries, ensuring packaging is recycled properly.
