About the Opportunity

We are seeking a highly skilled Regulatory Compliance Professional to join our team at AutoProtect Group. This is an exciting opportunity to work with a leading provider of products, platforms, and services that empower vehicle retailers, manufacturers, finance lenders, and brokers.

The successful candidate will be responsible for conducting risk management activities, providing consultancy and training relating to insurance distribution and consumer credit regulated activities across a network of motor dealerships.

We estimate the salary for this role to be around £45,000-£55,000 per annum, depending on experience.

Your Key Responsibilities
  1. Develop and implement compliance policies and procedures to ensure operational conformance to regulatory procedure
  2. Provide coaching and training to individuals and small groups on systems and regulatory process
  3. Develop and maintain effective relationships with industry partners to maximise compliant performance
  4. Conduct regular observation / competence assessments with sales personnel within dealerships

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A strong understanding of FCA regulation and processes
  • Experience of risk assessment and remedial action planning and monitoring
  • Excellent communication, coaching, and facilitation skills
  • Ability to build effective relationships with line managers, colleagues, and clients
  • Problem-solving, decision-making, and project management skills
  • Computer literate including MS Office
  • Analytical and investigative skills
  • Resilient with the ability to work under pressure
  • Self-motivated and a team player
