- Deal with customer site enquiries over the phone and via email, arranging the on and off hire of machinery.
- Cover for the manager and senior team to ensure all tasks and functions run as normal.
- Chase up all quotes or enquiries to maximize business and gain any new hire opportunities.
- Comply with company policies and procedures to ensure all work is carried out timely and accurately.
- Previous experience working as an Office Manager, Office Supervisor, Office Team Leader, Hire Manager, Customer Service Manager, Hire Supervisor, Hire Desk Manager, or similar.
- Knowledge of the hire industry, including Heavy Plant, Accommodation Hire, Formwork, Vehicle Hire, Generator Hire, HVAC, Powered Access, Tools, or Plant Hire.
- Office supervisor/management experience is key for this role, whether a small team or large.
