Job Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Quality Assurance Manager to join our team at TTP Group. As a Quality Assurance Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing and leading our quality standards, implementing and improving our quality systems and procedures, and ensuring compliance with relevant quality standards.
About the Role
The successful candidate will have a proven track record of leading and implementing quality management systems, with experience in setting up, maintaining, and getting certification for a quality management system for relevant quality standards, such as ISO 13485. You will have a practical, hands-on approach to quality processes in manufacturing and service provision, and strong communication and collaboration skills to work within a dynamic and fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Accountable for the quality management system and compliance across the business.
- Lead the business efficiently to quality management system accreditation and consistent delivery of quality products to customers.
- Implement and improve our quality systems and procedures, including overall management, production, service, and research and development.
- Lead internal audits, external audits, and hosting audits.
- Provide training and support on the quality management system to colleagues and new employees.
- Maintain and improve quality management system documentation and records.
- Monitor quality performance, lead root cause analysis, and corrective action.
- Champion continuous improvement to ensure issues are swiftly resolved.
- Actively participate in operational quality from goods-in to final inspection with the goal of excellence.
- Take responsibility in operational quality from supplier quality and material inspection to testing, monitoring, and final inspection.
Requirements
- Previously worked as a Quality Manager, Quality Specialist, or have experience leading and implementing a quality management system across a team.
- Experience setting up, maintaining, and getting certification for a quality management system for relevant quality standards, for example ISO 13485.
- Practical, hands-on approach to quality processes in manufacturing and service provision.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills to work within a start-up environment.
- Experience in working with either Life Sciences or the Medical device industries would be beneficial.
- Knowledge of frameworks for process improvement.
