About the Role:

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Care Assistant to join our team at Hall Road, a residential epilepsy specialist care provider in Sutton.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support clients with daily activities and ensure their care plans are established and followed.
  • Provide personal care and administer medication as required.
  • Assist clients with physical disabilities using trained techniques and aids.
  • Transport and escort clients to appointments and activities.
  • Work closely with managers to ensure clients are transported to all scheduled events.
  • Support clients with medical, physical, and emotional needs while traveling.
  • Manage client disputes and provide support to clients with their medical, physical, and emotional needs.

Requirements:

  • Enhanced DBS clearance.
  • Strong organisational, time management, planning, and communication skills.
  • Flexible and professional approach to multi-site working.
  • Proven reliability in terms of full attendance and timekeeping.
  • Ability to work as part of a team and as an individual.
  • Self-confidence and ability to manage challenging situations.
