About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Internal Sales Engineer to join our team at HVAC - FläktGroup UK. As a key member of our sales team, you will play a crucial role in supporting our external Sales Engineers in generating quotations and converting them into orders within our business area.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Generate quotations for our portfolio of HVAC products for mechanical consultants, contractors, local authorities, end-users, and design build contractors.
  • Respond to customer inquiries, providing information in a prompt and appropriate manner while maintaining the highest standards of customer service.
  • Provide technical information and advice to customers and colleagues as required.
  • Pass confirmed, clean orders through to our Contracts Department in a concise and orderly way to ensure timely and budget-friendly delivery of contracts.
  • Liaise with FläktGroup offices and manufacturing facilities worldwide to obtain and share relevant information.

Requirements:

  • An engineering or technical qualification is preferred, but the post-holder must demonstrate an ability to develop a sound understanding of technical products, especially fans and air handling units/chillers/fan coil units.
  • An experienced administrator with excellent organizational skills, capable of working quickly and accurately under their own initiative in a busy office environment.
  • Experience working in a sales office environment, selling HVAC products to consultants and contractors.
  • Strong persuasion, presentation, and communication skills.
  • Strong team working capabilities and a willingness to encourage a team approach to all practices and activities.
  • Strong IT skills, with particular competence in the use of MS Office software and web-based software.
  • Strong interpersonal skills, with a proven track record of working within teams and liaising with clients.
  • Ability and willingness to learn about and share knowledge of other products and applications.
