About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled Science Technician to join our team from September 2024. The successful candidate will have a passion for Science and a genuine interest in supporting students' development.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Coordinate the use of practical resources and provide assistance and advice in the practical needs of the science curriculum.
  2. Deploy 4 technicians to ensure essential performance standards are achieved.
  3. Contribute to the design, development, and maintenance of specialist resources and offer professional guidance to support students and teachers on the practical aspects of the curriculum.
  4. Work closely with the Curriculum Leader in Science in regard to changes to the National Curriculum.
Requirements:
  1. A passion for Science and a genuine interest in supporting students' development.
  2. Strong organizational and multitasking skills.
  3. Attention to detail and a proactive approach to problem-solving.
  4. Ability to work collaboratively within a team and communicate effectively.
  5. Previous experience in a similar role.
