HR Administrator Job Description

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented HR Administrator to join our team at Reed. As the first point of contact for all HR administrative queries, you will play a pivotal role in maintaining accurate and up-to-date records for all HR-related systems and processes.

Key Responsibilities:
  • HR Document Management: Update HR documents and employee records in our company HR software system.
  • Employee Onboarding: Administer training, recruitment, promotion, and probation processes.
  • Communication: Communicate changes to employee records and terms & conditions to the payroll department and line managers.
  • Attendance Management: Manage all sickness and other absence records.
  • Reporting: Produce ad-hoc reports and statistics for tasks such as annual bonus payments and pay reviews.
  • HR Support: Respond to HR-related queries from employees.
  • Metrics and Reporting: Monitor HR metrics and produce regular HR reports.
  • Knowledge Management: Maintain up-to-date knowledge of employment law and Human Resources.
  • Project Support: Assist with the administration and delivery of HR projects.
  • Issue Resolution: Resolve HR-related issues.
  • Stakeholder Management: Build relationships with internal stakeholders and external suppliers for HR-related services.
  • Employee Recognition: Administer the employee birthday gift process.
Requirements:
  • Education: A-Level standard education or above is advantageous.
  • Qualifications: At least two GCSEs, including English and Maths.
  • Experience: Previous HR administration experience.
  • Skills: Ability to work under pressure with conflicting priorities.
  • Communication: Good interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Technical Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools.
