About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and compassionate Care and Support Assistant to join our team at McCarthy Stone. As a Relief Care and Support Assistant, you will provide exceptional care and support to our residents, enabling them to live their later life to the fullest.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide individualized care and support to residents, promoting their independence and well-being
  • Deliver housekeeping and domestic support across the general estate, including apartment cleans
  • Support and encourage residents to participate in activities that promote their health and wellbeing
  • Assist with booking appointments, arranging transport, and escorting residents on visits as needed
  • Help with shopping and other domestic tasks as required
Requirements
  • Warm and friendly individual with a passion for making a difference in the lives of older people
  • Previous experience in a care or support environment is desirable, but not essential
  • Ability to work as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends
