The successful candidate will work as part of a multi-disciplinary team, providing clinical assessment and care to children and young people requiring procedures under general anaesthetic. This role requires excellent communication and interpersonal skills, as well as the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Take patient history and perform physical examinations of children and young people.
  • Prepare patients and their families for procedures and refer any anaesthetic, medical, or psychological issues to the appropriate discipline.
  • Prioritise workload and possess sound clinical skills for the assessment of patient needs to ensure effective patient journey.
  • Participate in audits and contribute to the planning, development, and delivery of the service.
