Job Title: Healthcare Assistant

We are seeking an experienced and committed Healthcare Assistant to join our team at Apollo Home Healthcare Ltd. As a Healthcare Assistant, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care and support to our service users with complex needs.

About the Role:

As a Healthcare Assistant, you will be responsible for providing personal care, supporting with daily living activities, and assisting with clinical care needs.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Providing personal care and support to service users with complex needs
  • Assisting with daily living activities, such as bathing, dressing, and toileting
  • Supporting with mobility and transferring service users
  • Observing and attending to clinical care needs
  • Building strong relationships with service users and their families
Requirements:
  • 3 months previous care experience
  • Personal care skills
  • Moving and handling skills
  • Medication administration skills
Desirable Experience:
  • PEG feeding experience
  • Spinal injury knowledge
  • Ventilation management skills
  • Bowel management skills
  • Nebuliser care skills
Working Hours:

We have the following shifts available:

  • Part-time days available - 2 shifts per week
  • 7:00am - 7:00pm
  • Alternate weekends are needed for this position
Pay Rates:

Weekdays: £13.00 per hour (Approx. £156.00 per 12-hour shift)

Weekends: £14.00 per hour (Approx. £168 per 12-hour shift)

Bank Holiday: £17.00 per hour (Approx. £204 per 12-hour shift)
