We are seeking a highly motivated and enthusiastic individual to join our student support team as a Student Support Mentor - Key Worker. As a key worker to an identified year group, you will be responsible for liaising with teachers, tutors, parents, and carers to support student progress and well-being.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Liaise with teachers, tutors, parents, and carers to support student progress and well-being
  • Act as a key worker to an identified year group, inspiring and enthusing students to achieve their termly targets
  • Provide assistance to classroom teachers with timetabled intervention/support in a classroom setting
  • Provide teaching cover on occasion
  • Support vulnerable students and encourage them to become independent learners

Requirements:

  • Approachable, enthusiastic, motivated, and resilient individual
  • Ability to support students with varying needs and abilities
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment
