Job Title: Student Support Mentor

We are seeking a highly motivated and enthusiastic Student Support Mentor to join our team. As a key worker to an identified year group, you will be responsible for liaising with teachers, tutors, parents, and carers to support student progress and well-being.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Liaise with teachers, tutors, parents, and carers to support student progress and well-being
  • Attend meetings and oversee student progress
  • Act as a reporting link to staff at all levels as appropriate
  • Provide assistance to classroom teachers with timetabled intervention/support in a classroom setting
  • Provide teaching cover on occasion
Requirements:
  • Approachable, enthusiastic, motivated, and resilient
  • Ability to support vulnerable students as well as our most able
  • Encourage students to become independent learners
