Luxury Communications Specialist

About the Role
">The University of the Arts London is seeking a highly skilled Luxury Communications Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our communications team, you will play a vital role in supporting the organization and execution of sample trafficking, research, and other related tasks.
Key Responsibilities
">- Assist in the compilation of coverage reports, forthcoming editorial, and key industry news.
- Monitor press and editorial (print, online, and social) and circulate relevant content to the communications team in a timely manner.
- Update contact details across databases and master lists.
- Stay up-to-date with industry movements and news and communicate these internally to the team.
- Conduct research into various fields pertaining to the communications team, including editorial/digital media statistics and trends, creative production, cultural events, and talent.
- Work closely with the Communications Coordinator and Collections team for the organization and execution of sample trafficking.
- Support the distribution of collection assets and visual asset requests from third parties.
- Assist with inputting and uploading product and collection descriptions.
- Aid in the production of events organized by the department, including research, logistics, and in-person support.
- Maintain organizational structure for all files pertaining to the communications team within the digital server and hardcopy filing.
- Organize and update team calendars as needed.
Skills and Qualifications
">- Experience working within a luxury brand's communications team.
- Experience in sample trafficking.
- Experience in press clipping.
- Visual software skills (i.e., InDesign, Photoshop, Microsoft Office).
- Intuitive and proactive approach.
- Strong organizational skills.
- Excellent writing, research, and communication skills.
- Good industry knowledge.
- Possession of a strong passion for the industry and an active awareness and knowledge of current events within world politics, arts, tech, and wider culture.
Salary and Benefits
">We offer a competitive salary of £25,000-£30,000 per annum, depending on experience, plus benefits package.
