About the Role:

This is an exciting opportunity to join Obscurant Recruitment Solutions Ltd as a Business Development Manager, working within the recruitment or IT/SaaS industry. The successful candidate will have a minimum of one to two years' experience of working in a B2B sales role.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct thorough market research to identify and prospect potential customers">
  • Engage with potential customers and generate leads using various prospecting techniques, such as cold calling, email outreach, networking, and leveraging online platforms">
  • Built and maintain strong relationships with key decision-makers and stakeholders within target companies, understanding their needs and pain points">
  • Effectively communicate the value of the proposition, highlighting the benefits and advantages of using an online platform">
  • Qualify leads by conducting needs assessments, understanding their requirements, and determining their suitability as potential customers">
  • Conduct product demonstrations and presentations, highlighting the features and functionalities of using an online platform">
  • Present and develop tailored made proposals and pricing solutions based on customer needs, negotiating contracts, and closing deals to achieve sales targets">
  • Consult closely with the customer success team to ensure a smooth transition from the sales process to onboarding and implementation">
  • Monitor continuously market trends, competitor activities, and industry developments to identify opportunities for growth and maintain a competitive edge">
  • Provide regular reports and updates on sales activities, pipeline status, and revenue forecasts to the senior directors">

Requirements:

To succeed in this role, you will need a naturally positive attitude, excellent communication and people skills, and the ability to effectively engage with and influence key decision-makers. You will also require the capacity to prioritise a busy workload while spinning lots of plates and demonstrate your ability to manage a full sales cycle from prospecting to closing deals.

Salary:

The salary for this position is up to £35,000 depending on experience, with uncapped OTE.
