Job Description

We are seeking a qualified social worker with a minimum of 2 years+ UK social work experience within a children's social work team to join our team as an Independent Social Worker/Reviewing Officer.

The successful candidate will be responsible for improving the life chances of children and ensuring that service provision leads to improved/positive outcomes for children.

Key responsibilities include:

  1. Scrutinising and challenging the local authority in relation to their function in providing for the needs of looked after children and those subject to child protection plans.
  2. Chairing the child's review and monitoring the child's case on an ongoing basis.
  3. Working closely with the team to ensure the safety of children under the close supervision of a supportive team manager.

The ideal candidate will have a DipSW or equivalent, be registered with the HCPC, have a current DBS, and be a car driver.

We offer a competitive pay rate, weekly payroll, and free access to a comprehensive online training portal worth £500 a year.

The successful candidate will also receive a Kindle Fire upon commencement of contract and a £20 Amazon voucher if registration is completed within 2 weeks.
