Job DescriptionWe are seeking a qualified social worker with a minimum of 2 years+ UK social work experience within a children's social work team to join our team as an Independent Social Worker/Reviewing Officer.
The successful candidate will be responsible for improving the life chances of children and ensuring that service provision leads to improved/positive outcomes for children.
Key responsibilities include:
- Scrutinising and challenging the local authority in relation to their function in providing for the needs of looked after children and those subject to child protection plans.
- Chairing the child's review and monitoring the child's case on an ongoing basis.
- Working closely with the team to ensure the safety of children under the close supervision of a supportive team manager.
The ideal candidate will have a DipSW or equivalent, be registered with the HCPC, have a current DBS, and be a car driver.
We offer a competitive pay rate, weekly payroll, and free access to a comprehensive online training portal worth £500 a year.
The successful candidate will also receive a Kindle Fire upon commencement of contract and a £20 Amazon voucher if registration is completed within 2 weeks.
