Job Title: Qualified Social Worker MASH

We are seeking a qualified and experienced social worker to join our MASH team in the Wirral, Merseyside area. As a social worker in this role, you will be responsible for providing high-quality support to children and families, working closely with other teams and agencies to ensure the best possible outcomes.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Maintaining relationships with various teams and local authorities
  • Gathering and collating relevant information with partner agencies
  • Analysing information to make professional judgements and recommendations
  • Working within referral and assessment teams or screening teams to take referrals about children at risk of significant harm
  • Screening for children involved in domestic abuse
  • Undertaking s17 assessments and interventions with children and families
Requirements:
  • 2 years' experience of working in a similar social work setting
  • Social Work Qualification
  • SWE registered
  • Child-focused and able to implement relationship-based and systemic-based practices
  • Ability to work well individually and within a team
