Opportunity Overview

The University of Liverpool is pleased to announce an exciting new opportunity for applications for appointment to the Ivens Fellowships, named in honour of Dr Frances Ivens, the first female consultant in Liverpool.

The fellowships are designed to support the development of future world-class research leaders in clinical specialties related to the University's existing research strengths.

Candidates should have evidence of their potential research excellence through successful grant awards and high-quality publications, and hold a PhD or equivalent qualification.

The positions will be 50% academic and 50% clinical, working in one of our partner trusts depending on the area of clinical specialty.

Applications are welcomed from medically qualified doctors in any clinical specialty.
