About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Technical Solution Designer to join our team at Interface Recruitment UK.

The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and documenting high and low-level technical designs for business requirements, working closely with design and development teams to ensure strategic initiatives are met.

This is an exciting opportunity for a motivated and experienced professional to take on a key role in shaping our technical solutions and driving business growth.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Develop and document technical designs for business requirements, ensuring alignment with enterprise architectural principles and standards.
  2. Collaborate with design and development teams to ensure strategic initiatives are met and technical solutions are delivered on time.
  3. Engage with stakeholders to translate business requirements into technical designs, operating across a range of technologies.
  4. Ensure quality end-to-end technical designs are provided to the business, upholding governance frameworks and best practice guidelines.
  5. Keep up to date with industry best practice, emerging technologies, and promote these to the organisation and design team as appropriate.
  6. Provide proactive 'can do' approach to tasks and embrace a culture of continuous service improvement.
  7. Promote and uphold all business governance frameworks, principles, and adherence to all regulatory requirements.
Requirements:
  1. Strong technical design skills, with experience in developing solutions at high and low-level design.
  2. Working experience at a development, infrastructural, and enterprise level, with a good understanding of the Microsoft/OpenEdge Technology Stack.
  3. Accurate technical documentation of design solutions, with strong demonstrable documentation skills.
  4. Exceptional ability to communicate and present solutions to stakeholders and governance committees.
  5. Experience working in a fast-moving technical financial/development environment, with familiarity with ITIL, SDLC, and Change Management Frameworks.
  6. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, being confident to interact with stakeholders and colleagues across the organisation.
  7. Highly motivated and able to work to tight deadlines in a highly pressurised environment.
