Job Description

At Together, we are seeking a skilled and experienced Financial Strategist to join our team. In this role, you will play a crucial part in leading the provision of cost business partnering for various business areas, representing a significant portion of our annual spend.

As a Financial Strategist, your key responsibilities will include:

  • Providing forward-looking business partnering services to senior managers, challenging them to optimize their business operations and drive value for money
  • Representing the shareholder's interests in ensuring prudent financial decision-making and communicating this passion to colleagues
  • Collaborating with business areas and the procurement team to ensure timely and value-driven procurement decisions
  • Staying informed about the overall cost base managed within the team to effectively represent the organization's interests to key stakeholders
  • Contributing to budget and quarterly reforecasting submissions for partnered areas

Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will need to possess:

  • A qualified accounting designation (CIMA, ACCA, ACA)
  • Experience in cost business partnering at senior management or executive levels
  • Excellent communication, leadership, relationship-building, and influencing skills at a strategic level
