Primary Education Support Professional

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a dedicated and enthusiastic primary education support professional to support pupils in Year 2 at a primary school in London.
Job Description:
- Assist the class teacher with lesson preparation and classroom management, ensuring a smooth learning experience for students.
- Help maintain a positive, inclusive, and stimulating classroom environment, promoting academic excellence and social growth.
- Support students with varying abilities and learning needs, including those with special educational needs, providing tailored assistance and guidance.
- Act as a positive role model for students, promoting appropriate behaviour and social skills, and fostering a culture of respect and inclusivity.
Requirements:
- Previous experience working as a teaching assistant in a primary setting is essential, showcasing your ability to support students and teachers alike.
- Strong administrative and organisational abilities are crucial, ensuring efficient classroom management and record-keeping.
- Excellent communication skills to engage effectively with staff and students, facilitating open dialogue and collaborative problem-solving.
- Flexibility to adapt to the dynamic needs of the school environment, prioritising student well-being and academic success.
- A relevant qualification (e.g., Level 2/3 Certificate in Supporting Teaching and Learning in Schools) is desirable but not essential, demonstrating your commitment to ongoing professional development.
- Experience supporting students with SEND is desirable, highlighting your expertise in catering to diverse learning needs.
