Engineering Development Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Engineering Trainer to join our dynamic team at Fife College. As an Engineering Development Specialist, you will play a crucial role in delivering high-quality learning experiences to our students, primarily teaching Mechanical Engineering subjects up to HND level.
About the Role:
The successful candidate will be responsible for designing and delivering engaging learning activities, evaluating and improving teaching methods, and maintaining accurate records of learner attendance and achievement. To succeed in this role, you will require a strong academic background in a relevant vocational area, such as a HND/Degree or SVQ Level 4/5 qualification. Additionally, you should have demonstrable experience in following a vocational qualification and hold a driving license.
Key Responsibilities:
* Delivering learning and teaching activities to students studying Mechanical Engineering subjects
* Evaluating and improving teaching methods to ensure high-quality learning experiences
* Maintaining accurate records of learner attendance and achievement
Required Skills and Qualifications:
* HND/Degree or SVQ Level 4/5 in a relevant vocational area
* Relevant academic experience
* Demonstrable experience in following a vocational qualification
* A driving license
* Teaching Qualification in Further Education (desired)
* SVQ Level 3 in an Engineering discipline (desired)
* Broad experience of curriculum delivery (desired)
* Proven record of evaluative ability (desired)
Salary: £38,000 - £42,000 per annum
