Job Title: Membership & Fundraising Co-ordinator

About the Role:

The Tank Museum is seeking a highly skilled and motivated Membership & Fundraising Co-ordinator to join our team. This is a new role, created to support the museum's continued growth and development.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement a comprehensive fundraising strategy to support the museum's charitable objectives.
  • Build and maintain relationships with existing and potential donors, including individuals, trusts, and corporate partners.
  • Research and identify new funding opportunities, including grants, sponsorships, and legacy giving.
  • Collaborate with the marketing team to develop and implement effective marketing campaigns to promote the museum's fundraising activities.
  • Provide excellent customer service to members and donors, responding to queries and resolving issues in a timely and professional manner.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience in fundraising, membership development, or a related field.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with stakeholders.
  • Strong research and analytical skills, with the ability to identify and pursue new funding opportunities.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a flexible and adaptable approach to work.
  • Knowledge of fundraising software and databases, with the ability to learn new systems quickly.
