Job SummaryWe are seeking an experienced R&D Director to join our growing team. As a key member of our leadership team, you will drive the product group strategy, overseeing the successful design and release of future generation Power MOSFET product families and technology platforms.
Key Responsibilities- Lead and develop a growing team of highly skilled engineers and experts dedicated to releasing industry-leading Power MOSFET product portfolios.
- Drive, define, and manage the execution of the future product roadmap.
- Ensure new product releases meet manufacturability, reliability, customer, and market requirements in collaboration with product marketing, process development, assembly, and industrial functions.
- Act as a technical leader and provide technical guidance across the organization, coaching, and mentoring team members.
- Communicate and collaborate effectively with senior management, participating in activities between multiple functions, including wafer fab, assembly, test, quality, applications, and business groups.
- Experience leading an R&D team in a semiconductor environment.
- A proven track record of driving and delivering projects on time in a managerial capacity.
- A solid general understanding of semiconductor device physics, characterization, and process flow.
- Some understanding of Power MOSFETs, including electrical operation, device physics, wafer fabrication processes, packaging flows, reliability methods, characterization, and failure modes.
- The ability to communicate complex concepts and requirements clearly and to influence stakeholders at all levels.
