What You Will Do:
You'll be a Senior Marketing Effectiveness Specialist at Centrica, playing a pivotal role in driving our marketing strategies forward. This exciting opportunity combines analytical expertise with strategic thinking to optimize marketing performance. Your mission will be to design, build, and maintain econometric/MMM models for British Gas and Hive, helping to inform and shape our overall marketing strategy. This position involves regular collaboration with cross-functional teams, including commercial, finance, marketing, and data science, to ensure effective decision-making. You'll analyze vast datasets to understand the impact of marketing spend on critical business metrics and transform complex data insights into actionable recommendations.

**Key Responsibilities:**
  • Develop and maintain a portfolio of econometric/MMM models for British Gas and Hive products to help inform marketing decisions.
  • Conduct in-depth analyses of large datasets to quantify the effects of marketing expenditure on sales and customer acquisition.
  • Support multiple projects simultaneously, communicating effectively with senior stakeholders and collaborating across functions.
  • Interpreting complex data to produce clear, concise recommendations for marketing strategy.
  • Partner closely with colleagues to achieve common goals, ensuring alignment across different departments.

Your Qualifications and Skills:
To excel in this role, you must have strong analytical skills and a proven track record of success in Marketing Mix Modelling, Big Data Analysis, and related fields. Experience working in professional environments and knowledge of programming languages like Python, R, or SQL will be beneficial. Additionally, proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, specifically Excel, PowerPoint, and Word, is a requirement. An understanding of market dynamics, media planning, and buying strategies will also be advantageous.
