About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and customer-focused Sales Assistant to join our team at Card Factory. As a Sales Assistant, you will play a key role in providing excellent customer service and ensuring that our customers have a positive shopping experience.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide exceptional customer service and respond to customer inquiries in a timely and professional manner.
  • Process sales transactions accurately and efficiently, while also upselling and promoting our products.
  • Price and merchandise stock and products correctly to ensure that our customers have a wide range of options to choose from.
  • Work with the team to unload and unpack deliveries, and assist with stock takes as needed.
  • Assist with maintaining a clean and organized store environment, including restocking shelves and tidying up the sales floor.

Requirements

  • Previous retail experience is not necessary, but a passion for customer service and a willingness to learn are essential.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and multitask with ease.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with colleagues and customers.
  • Ability to lift and move stock as needed, and to stand for long periods of time.
