Thorpe & Co Solicitors is seeking a dynamic and experienced Senior Civil Litigation Solicitor / Chartered Legal Executive to join our team in Whitby or Scarborough. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in civil litigation and be confident in advising clients on a range of litigation matters.

We are looking for someone who can demonstrate their experience in areas including property litigation, contract disputes, personal injury, landlord tenant disputes, debt recovery, professional/clinical negligence claims, TOLATA, contentious probate, and employment law.

The successful candidate will manage a diverse caseload of civil and commercial litigation cases, assist in building and developing the department, and work closely with our experienced head of department.

To succeed in this role, you will need to have excellent legal research, drafting, and advocacy abilities, as well as exceptional communication and interpersonal skills. You must also be able to work independently and as part of a team, adhering to professional ethics and legal standards.
