Civil Litigation Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled Civil Litigation Specialist to join our team at Thorpe & Co Solicitors. This exciting opportunity will see you working as a Senior Lawyer in our Whitby office, handling a diverse caseload of civil and commercial litigation cases.

About the Role:

• Manage a varied portfolio of cases, including property disputes, contract issues, personal injury claims, and employment law matters.
• Develop and implement effective strategies to resolve complex legal disputes.
• Work closely with clients to provide expert advice and guidance on litigation matters.

Requirements:

• Degree in Law (or equivalent) and a strong track record of handling complex litigation cases.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with clients, colleagues, and external stakeholders.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to think critically and creatively.
• Able to work independently and as part of a team, with a strong commitment to delivering high-quality results.

Salary and Benefits:

We offer a competitive salary of £42,000 per annum, plus benefits including ongoing training and career development opportunities. You will also have the chance to work in a supportive and collaborative environment alongside our experienced head of department.

Location:

This role is based primarily at our Whitby office, with occasional travel to Scarborough. We are looking for someone who is able to commute or plan to relocate before starting work.

Total Salary Package:

Including basic pay, this role offers a total salary package of approximately £45,000 per annum, depending on experience and qualifications.
