About the Role
This is an exciting opportunity to join the European Tax Centre of Excellence at Bristol-Myers Squibb as a Tax Compliance Specialist. As a key member of the team, you will be responsible for managing all direct tax reporting compliance requirements for a group of markets within the Europe region.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare and submit tax reporting, including tax provision, quarterly tax contingency, and projections.
- Prepare annual Corporate Income Tax Returns, coordinate external preparation and review.
- Calculate and instruct Corporate Income Tax Payments.
- Liaise with tax authorities.
- Continuously review tax legislation to identify relevant changes, analyze impact, and communicate to business partners.
- Participate in internal projects to ensure direct tax compliance, provide advice and support for any tax advisory questions, utilizing third-party resources.
Requirements
- Qualified Accountant and/or Chartered Tax Adviser.
- Understanding of accounting provisions, accounting principles, statutory audit, and disclosure requirements of financial statements in at least one jurisdiction in Europe.
