The successful candidate will have a degree in psychology and an interest in education and child development. They will be able to connect with students and staff, and have a compassionate and patient approach, particularly when working with students who have additional needs.
The role involves working with individual students or small groups to support their academic progress, helping them engage with lessons and build confidence in their abilities. The successful candidate will also be able to assist teachers by helping students manage behavioural challenges, using techniques such as positive reinforcement and emotional regulation strategies to improve classroom behaviour.
