Join our team as a dedicated Learning Support Professional

Foster the growth and development of young individuals aged 8-16 with diverse needs, including those with ASD, SEMH (Social and Emotional Mental Health), and Challenging Behaviours.

We are seeking a collaborative individual to work closely with the class teacher to ensure each child receives tailored support for success. This full-time position requires a commitment of Monday to Friday from 8:30 am to 3:30 pm, five days a week.

The successful candidate will be expected to start as soon as possible, with the possibility of a permanent direct contract for the right individual, offering a long-term opportunity in a supportive and dynamic environment.

  • Key Responsibilities:
  • Support children with additional needs
  • Collaborate with the classroom teacher on lesson planning and preparation
  • Create engaging and interactive learning activities
  • Foster social skills and encourage positive relationships among children
  • Maintain a safe and supportive learning environment

  • Experience working with children and young adults, particularly those with additional needs
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • A positive and empathetic approach to working with children
  • A commitment to consistent and effective support
  • A willingness to work flexibly and adapt to changing school needs

The estimated salary for this position is £20,000 - £25,000 per year, depending on experience.
