**Job Description:** Compliance and Regulatory Affairs Specialist

Location: London

Estimated Salary: £85,000 - £105,000 per annum

We are seeking an experienced Compliance and Regulatory Affairs Specialist to join our Enterprise Privacy team. In this role, you will be responsible for providing compliance and operational risk oversight of Front Line Units and Control Functions (FLU/CF) globally, managing risks, and ensuring adherence to policies.

Key responsibilities include assessing risks, associated controls, and their effectiveness, driving compliance with applicable laws, rules, and regulations, and identifying and escalating problems or issues that arise.

  • Provide independent compliance and operational risk oversight of Front Line Unit or Control Function (FLU/CF) performance and any related third party/vendor relationships.
  • Assess risks, associated controls and their effectiveness, driving compliance with applicable laws, rules, and regulations and adhering to policies.
  • Identify and escalate problems or issues that arise and drive actions to address the root causes that lead to compliance risk issues and/or operational risk losses.
  • Manage inventory of processes, risks, controls, and associated metrics for risk appetite and limits, reporting violations of compliance or regulatory activities.
  • Analyse and interpret applicable laws, rules, and regulations to provide clear and practical advice to stakeholders, and identify and manage risks.
  • Respond to regulatory inquiries, other audits, and examinations and identifies regulatory training needs supporting the development of the training curriculum.

Requirements:

  • In-depth knowledge of or certification in law, rule, regulation and/or Data Privacy; li>
  • Interpret Relevant Laws, Rules, and Regulations.
  • Understanding of Policies, Procedures, and Guidelines Management.
