About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced professional to lead our Community and Challenge Events team. As the Head of Community and Challenge Events, you will be responsible for developing and delivering a comprehensive fundraising strategy to drive income growth and support our mission to provide mental health support to children and young people.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Fundraising: Develop and implement a strategic fundraising plan to increase team income, aligning with Place2Be's overall business objectives.
  • Key Relationships: Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including supporters, internal teams, and external networks.
  • Finance and Reporting: Manage the Community and Events programme within budget, monitor income and expenditure, and provide regular financial reports.
  • Leadership: Lead and develop a high-performing team, setting targets and ensuring team members meet their objectives and grow in their roles.
Requirements:
  • Proven experience in achieving six-figure income targets.
  • Ability to develop and drive forward growth through strategic planning.
  • Leadership and management experience with a commitment to staff development.
  • Extensive project management experience in mass participation income-generating activities.
  • Strong understanding of finance and budget management.
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to build effective partnerships.
  • Entrepreneurial skills with a flexible, 'can-do' approach.
