Key Responsibilities:

* Lead, motivate, and develop a team of maintenance engineers, fostering a culture of teamwork, innovation, and excellence.
* Ensure compliance with health, safety, and hygiene regulations.
* Manage day-to-day maintenance activities, including the prioritisation of resources in a fast-paced production environment.
* Conduct preventative maintenance and factory start-up testing.
* Manage external contractors and ensure all documentation is completed accurately and on time.

Requirements:

* Extensive hands-on technical experience, ideally within the food manufacturing or FMCG sector.
* A recognised time-served apprenticeship or relevant qualifications in either mechanical or electrical engineering (minimum NVQ Level 3).
* Knowledge of planned maintenance systems and PPM.
* Experience with hydraulics, pneumatics, mechanical, electrical, and inverter/PC systems.
