Specialist Physiotherapist

We are seeking a dynamic and forward-thinking physiotherapist to join our Falls Therapy Team as a Specialist Physiotherapist. As a key member of the team, you will drive our Trust's falls agenda, working collaboratively with the multi-disciplinary team to lead quality improvement projects that promote patient safety and mobility. Your expertise will be invaluable in reducing the number of inpatient falls and improving patient care.
You will hold a caseload of patients and work closely with ward-based therapy teams to support and guide in the cases of high-risk falls patients. If you are passionate about improving patient care and safety, we would love to hear from you.
- To work collaboratively with colleagues in health, social care, local authority, and other agencies to meet the needs of patients.
- To lead Quality Improvement work to support maintaining mobility whilst in hospital and reduction in the number of falls within the Trust.
- To promote the importance of preventing deconditioning in inpatients, and lead training and Quality Improvement projects in relation to this.
- To enhance the skills of the multi-disciplinary team in supporting patients after falls in hospital.

- Current registration with Health and Care Professions Council
- Evidence of advanced specialist clinical knowledge
- Significant post-graduate experience including work at Band 6 within the relevant specialty
- Experience of management of highly complex patients within the specialty
- Experience in clinical audit/research and effectiveness
- Experience in the management and support of patients/carers with complex problems
