About the Role

RSE is seeking a highly skilled Commissioning Engineer to join our team on a permanent basis. As a Commissioning Engineer, you will play a critical role in the delivery of projects for various clients in the water industry.

Key Responsibilities
  • Undertake Control, Instrumentation, and Electrical works, including installation, testing, commissioning, and fault finding within new and existing MCC's, industrial instrumentation, analysers, motors, actuators, and other equipment used in automated control systems.
  • Develop commissioning plans, site commissioning files, methodologies, programmes, method statements, and risk assessments to support project teams.
  • Monitor standards to ensure specification compliance and quality standards are strictly maintained.
  • Carry out commissioning of LV Electrical systems, Instrumentation, and Control Systems, including MCC's and associated field equipment.
  • Read and interpret electrical drawings, line diagrams, and P&ID's.
  • Complete SAT and Asset Start-up.
  • Complete commissioning documentation.
  • Participate in HAZCOMM activities for various projects as required.
Requirements
  • Electrical/Instrumentation HND/HNC or equivalent.
  • Proven Mechanical & Electrical experience, with full commissioning phase experience (installation, dry, wet, process testing).
  • Previous experience holding SAP or AP position and of PTW systems.
  • Experience in executing pre-commissioning and commissioning activities for clean and wastewater projects on both new build and retrofit sites.
  • Experience in FAT, SAT testing, and fault finding.
  • Experience in telemetry end-to-end testing.
  • Profibus, Installation, and Commissioning Certification.
  • Full UK Driving Licence.
