About the Role

We are seeking a compassionate and detail-oriented Housekeeping Assistant to join our team at Excelcare Holdings. As a key member of our Housekeeping Team, you will play a vital role in maintaining the highest standards of cleanliness and safety in our care home.

Your primary responsibility will be to ensure that bedrooms, bathrooms, and communal areas are cleaned to a high standard at all times. This will involve undertaking regular cleaning tasks, as well as participating in deep cleans on a rota basis. You will also be responsible for disposing of rubbish and reporting any equipment failure or maintenance issues in line with our policies and procedures.

In addition to your cleaning duties, you will have the opportunity to engage with our residents and promote their independence, choice, dignity, and respect. This may involve participating in activities and providing support with daily tasks.
