Bruin is seeking a highly skilled Actuarial Manager to join its market-leading pensions actuarial consulting practice. As a central individual within the team, you will work closely with senior advisors to deliver innovative strategic solutions to diverse portfolios of clients, both corporate and trustee.
About the Role:
The Actuarial Manager will be responsible for:
- Working directly with leading industry figures in wider consulting, risk transfer, risk modelling, and a range of different areas
- Delivering high-quality actuarial services to clients, including pension scheme valuations, funding strategy, and investment advice
- Collaborating with senior advisors to develop and implement strategic solutions for clients
- Providing expert actuarial advice to clients, including technical actuarial methods and UK DB pension schemes
- Building and maintaining strong relationships with clients and internal stakeholders
Requirements:
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- 5+ years of experience in a relevant pensions actuarial role
- FIA/FFA qualified (or awaiting PPD sign-off for FIA status)
- Strong working knowledge of UK DB pension schemes and relevant technical actuarial methods
- Excellent team, organisational, and communication skills
