We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Stores Assistant to join our team at our base maintenance facility in Bournemouth. As a Stores Assistant, you will play a critical role in ensuring efficient inventory controls in compliance with aviation maintenance standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Inspect and prioritize booking in all incoming goods.
  • Control and maintain inventory and van stock records.
  • Issue stock and tooling efficiently.
  • Monitor and prevent consumable stock shortages.
  • Accurately record all stock movements in the networked system.
  • Raise and manage orders from approved suppliers.
  • Maintain strong relationships with suppliers and customers.
  • Ensure timely availability of parts for Maintenance.
  • Facilitate parts movement between facilities and restock company vans.
  • Communicate effectively with engineering and planning departments.

About You:

We are looking for a candidate with a strong passion for providing excellent customer service and a keen sense of diligence and high levels of integrity. You should be adept at planning and prioritizing effectively, ensuring efficient task management. Your communication skills, both written and verbal, are excellent, enabling you to convey information clearly.
