Job Title: Clinical Psychologist - Trauma Focused Care

We are seeking a highly skilled Clinical Psychologist to join our team at South West London and St Georges Mental Health NHS Trust. As a Clinical Psychologist, you will be responsible for providing specialist psychological assessments and treatments to clients with severe and complex mental health conditions.

About the Role

This is an exciting opportunity to work in a dynamic and supportive team, providing high-quality care to clients with traumatic backgrounds and presentations of PTSD and C-PTSD. You will be working in a multidisciplinary team, contributing to the delivery of NICE recommended evidence-based psychological therapies.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide specialist psychological assessments and treatments to clients with severe and complex mental health conditions.
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of trauma-informed care across the trust.
  • Work closely with other professionals to provide comprehensive care to clients.
  • Participate in multidisciplinary meetings and contribute to the development of care plans.
  • Provide supervision, consultation, and training to other clinicians as required.
Requirements
  • Doctoral level training in clinical psychology.
  • Experience of working with clients with severe and complex mental health conditions.
  • Knowledge of trauma-informed care and evidence-based psychological therapies.
  • Ability to work in a multidisciplinary team and contribute to the development of care plans.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
