Job Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled Commercial Quantity Surveyor to join our award-winning Energy team on the Norfolk Offshore Wind Zone project in Norwich. As a key member of our team, you will play a crucial role in supporting and advising on all commercial issues on the project.
About the Role
- Preparation of internal commercial reporting and other reports as required.
- Preparation of Valuations/Applications for Payment with full documentation in accordance with the contract.
- Preparation of Cost Reports to the Client with contractually compliant documentation.
- Preparation and management of subcontract and material procurement schedules.
- Administration of subcontractor/supplier accounts from the preparation of detailed requisitions, monitoring, and authorisation of subcontract payments through to agreement of final accounts.
- Undertake contract administration, including change management and maintain associated registers.
- Identifying commercial risks, opportunities, value engineering and change.
- Use the cost allocation/coding which satisfies both internal and external requirements.
- Measurement of quantities in accordance with the standard methods of measurement as required.
- Assist in the preparation of project final accounts.
- Drafting of subcontracts including professional services.
Requirements
- HND/Degree qualification.
- Proven experience within a Commercial role i.e., Assistant Quantity Surveyor, Quantity Surveyor, or a similar role.
- Registered with RICS / ICES and working towards chartership.
- Knowledge of Standard Forms of Contract and Standard Methods of Measurement.
