About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior ECC Project Manager to join our team at Anglian Water Services. As a key member of our Commercial and Delivery Assurance team, you will be responsible for delivering Contract Management and Contract Administration services across our @one Alliance.

Key Responsibilities
  • Independent administration and execution of NEC3 contracts across our Tier 1 Supply Chain.
  • Discharging ECC Project Manager actions as delegated across the Tier 1 Supply Chain.
  • Ensuring ECC Project Manager and ECC Supervisor actions delegated to Project Delivery roles are implemented and effective.
  • Effective change control, including Early Warnings and Risk Reduction Meetings with delivery teams.
  • Ensuring project deliverables are achieved and evidenced to support governance approval.
  • Managing Client project governance protocols.
  • Active participation in Portfolio Boards, adhering to Portfolio Terms of Reference.
  • Providing Contract Management support in programme boards and governance groups.
  • Instilling an environment that encourages integrated teams to make informed decisions.
  • Promoting collaboration and establishing mutually beneficial relationships across stakeholders.
  • Supporting timely resolution of contractual issues.
  • Supporting the Commercial & Delivery Assurance team in self-assurance contracts and concluding actions as required.
  • Providing robust challenge to achieve outperformance and communicating change control.
  • Undertaking routine assurance activities, such as reviewing and verifying cost data.
  • Maintaining proper records for financial information and audits.

Requirements
  • HND or Degree in construction, engineering, or science subject.
  • NEC3 or NEC 4 Project Manager Accreditation.
  • Highly capable and experienced in commercial management.
  • Demonstrable project management knowledge and experience in a design and construction environment.
  • Demonstrable working knowledge of the NEC contract and its application.
  • Significant experience in commercially managing Construction Contracts across the utility or construction sector.
  • Demonstrable experience in dispute resolution and mediation.
  • Experience in Team Management.
