Senior ECC Project Manager Role

Job Type: Full-time, 37 hours a week, permanent position available.

Salary: circa £80,000 per annum, depending on skills and experience.

Based in Thorpe Wood House, Peterborough, this flexible role offers the opportunity to work from home or an Anglian Water office.

The @One Alliance is a collaborative organisation consisting of eight partners working together to deliver projects that account for over half of Anglian Water's capital investment programme. In AMP (Asset Management Period) 8, our work will increase from £1 million to a substantial amount.

  • Main Responsibilities:
  • Responsible for discharging the ECC Project Manager actions delegated across the Tier 1 Supply Chain.
  • Ensuring effective change control, Early Warnings are raised, and Risk Reduction Meetings are held regularly with delivery teams.
  • Project deliverables must be achieved and evidenced to support governance approval.
  • Managing Client project governance protocols.
  • Providing Contract Management support in various programme boards and governance groups.
  • Cultivating an environment that encourages integrated teams to make informed decisions aligned with governance processes.
  • Supporting the Commercial & Delivery Assurance team as part of self-assurance contracts and concluding actions as required.
  • Conducting routine assurance activities such as reviewing/verifying cost data.
  • Maintaining accurate records to ensure financial information is readily available for audits and cost assurance.

Required Skills:

  • Nec3 or Nec 4 Project Manager Accreditation.
  • Highly capable and experienced in commercial management.
  • Demonstrable project management knowledge and experience of a design and construction environment.
  • Demonstrable working knowledge of the NEC contract and its application.
  • Experience of Team Management.
