Coyne Recruitment is a leading provider of recruitment services to the Employability and Skills sector. We are currently working with a reputable organisation to recruit a highly skilled Functional Skills Tutor (Maths & English).

**Job Summary**
As a Functional Skills Tutor, you will be responsible for facilitating the effective and efficient learning and assessment of learners undergoing Functional Skills Maths & English qualifications. Your primary goal will be to help students understand their learning topics and adapt lesson plans to meet their individual needs and requirements.

**Key Responsibilities**
  • Assess, assist, and encourage learners in the learning process
  • Review materials used in classes and explain various topics to learners
  • Adapt lesson plans and schemes of work to meet learner needs and requirements
  • Create an engaging and motivational learning environment
  • Differentiate course content to allow learners with different learning styles to engage fully
  • Maintain learner records and ensure all portfolios meet the required standards
  • Manage learner behaviour in the classroom and on company premises
  • Support the implementation and development of the Functional Skills (FS) Strategy


**Requirements**
The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of Functional Skills Maths and English qualifications and be able to adapt their teaching style to meet the needs of learners with different learning styles. They will also have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with learners, colleagues, and other stakeholders.
